I am a certified K-6 Florida teacher, currently teaching 5th grade science and reading intervention at a low income Miami school through Teach For America. I was a psychology major with a focus in child development, as well as a geography major, with a double minor in Philosophy and children's studies. I graduated with a 3.95 overall GPA from Bucknell Unviersity, a competitive liberal arts school in Pennsylvania. I was a member of numerous honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa. While at Bucknell, I served as a Psychology Teaching Assistant, and tutored children of various ages in the local community. In high school in Connecticut, I took 8 AP exams (passing them all and receiving a 5 on 6/8, complete scores are below) and received a 34 on my ACT. I was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. I love sports, soccer in particular- I have been an avid soccer player my whole life, and coached high school soccer while I was in college since I decided not to play D1. I also love to read, go to the beach, and go running in my spare time.
